he project The Archive of the Athens Epidaurus Festival: A Priceless Digital Collection of 65 Years aimed to showcase and preserve the Festival’s history from 1955 to 2020 through systematic digitization, documentation, and public access. To enhance accessibility and engagement, a suite of digital applications was designed to bring the Festival’s archive to life for diverse audiences. These included virtual tours of its venues, interactive timelines, digital exhibitions, and educational games, each developed to encourage exploration and dialogue with the archive. The design concept emphasized clarity, usability, and visual coherence, integrating archival material with interactive storytelling. By combining rigorous documentation with creative digital tools, the applications transformed the archive into a living resource, enabling researchers, artists, and the general public to discover, interact with, and reinterpret 65 years of performances and cultural production.
