SPACE OF TOGETHERNESS

Exhibition Identity and Design

Space of Togetherness, presented by NEON at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece | School of Athens Irene Papas, brought together twenty artists and collectives from thirteen countries to address urgent issues shaping today’s world. The exhibition explored themes of migration, racism, social mobility, climate change, and the rights of individuals and communities, creating a narrative around coexistence and belonging. Works were presented by Taysir Batniji, Enri Canaj, Documatism, Mona Hatoum, patricia kaersenhout, Menelaos Karamaghiolis, Bouchra Khalili, Grada Kilomba, Tarik Kiswanson, Sophie Kovel, Kalliopi Lemos, Malgorzata Mirga-Tas, Stella Nastou, Georgia Sagri, VASKOS, and five newly commissioned projects by Marianna Christofides, Maria Loizidou, Igshaan Adams, Antrea Tzourovits, and Kostas Roussakis. The identity and design concept were developed to reflect the exhibition’s role as a living laboratory, where the activities of the Drama School intersected with contemporary art and an expansive public program of talks, performances, concerts, and workshops. Visual and spatial design elements emphasized inclusivity, clarity, and openness, supporting NEON’s mission to activate cultural and educational spaces while encouraging dialogue between art, society, and diverse communities.
