The Hellenic Museums Accreditation System is an official initiative of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, designed to support the recognition and certification of museums across Greece, whether directly overseen by the Ministry or operated under other authorities. As a subcontractor to Indigital, the design concept was developed to provide a clear, structured, and user-friendly interface that facilitates both certification for ministry-affiliated museums and recognition for independent institutions. The platform integrates evaluation questionnaires, informative resources, and a searchable registry of accredited museums, including visitor information such as opening hours and ticketing. By streamlining complex administrative processes through thoughtful design, the system contributes to raising standards of accessibility, inclusivity, and professional excellence in the museum sector.
