The Archive of the Athens Epidaurus Festival

A Priceless Digital Collection of 65 Years

The project The Archive of the Athens Epidaurus Festival: A Priceless Digital Collection of 65 Years aimed to showcase and preserve the Festival’s history from 1955 to 2020 through systematic digitization, documentation, and public access. The visual identity was designed to reflect both the cultural weight of the archive and its digital transformation. At its center, the logo employs the two slashes // as a symbolic reference to the digital realm, signaling the transition from physical records to a living, accessible online resource. The overall design language balances clarity and adaptability, ensuring coherence across the digital archive, communication materials, and public-facing applications, while underscoring the Festival?s role in connecting past, present, and future in the performing arts.
